Dear Praying Partner,

June was a busy month as I had several speaking engagements and heavy preparation for the Kids Outreach coming up in July. When Rowena was alive, we shared the ministry and the preparation. This was my first full Crusade on my own, and I had to create an entirely new program, and prepare all the stories, visuals, etc. It was a real challenge.

I left Springfield in the early hours of July 5th, and night stopped with missionary friends in Amarillo, TX.The next night I stopped over in Albuquerque, NM.and got to visit with the Whiteheads. Jack and Lorraine were among the first people we met in '79 when we arrived in Los Angeles from Africa. We caught up on old times and had a good visit.

Wednesday night I attended a Bible Study in Flagstaff, and was privileged to meet Russ Miller and his wife. He has a wonderful ministry to the UniversityStudents in Flagstaff, and shares the biblical truths about Creation with guided tours to the Grand Canyon, showing the work of God in Creation. He signed up as a contributor to our Global Christian Center.com web site, so you will soon be seeing his articles and Videos on our site.

The journey through the Desert, from Phoenix to San Diego was uneventful, but the day time temperatures were in the 100's. I was really appreciative of the good A/C in my car!  I arrived Friday evening and my son John and his wife Lorina came 200 miles, with the 3 kids from Rosamond and spent the day with me on Saturday for my 74th birthday. We took the kids to the beach, and then went out to dinner.

Pastor Dabney gave me a grand welcome, and I spoke for the Sunday Morning Service and then conducted a 4 night Kid-Zone 2010 outreach there. Altogether 31 people, young and older, responded to the invitations to find Jesus. The following Sunday, the ‘Country Church' in Chula Vista had me conduct a Holy Spirit seminar, morning and evening, which were well received. 2 adults there also responded to the Gospel invitation.

I arrived back in Springfield after 18 days on the road, very tired but feeling it had been very satisfying to have the privilege of ministry. In all, the journey covered 3,700 miles.

August has been filled with meetings for Network211, and lots of paperwork to get my work up to date. I finally gathered up the courage to have my dental work done. I have been embarrassed to smile, due to the condition of my lower front teeth, for a couple of years now. Now I have had them all extracted and have a new ‘Smile' thanks to the good work of my dentist. However, I attach new meaning to the old proverb, "No Pain, No Gain!"

PRAYER REQUEST:

I am still waiting for the US Gov. to move on my application for my daughter Sylvia and grand daughter Sabrina to get visas to live in the USA again. Please join me in prayer for the Lord to show us what to do next.

Thank you for your interest and investment in my ministry.
